About The Artist

THE UNCRTN is an Alternative/Pop Metal project from NYC that fuses Electronics, Metal, and Pop, to create a unique sonic experience, urging members of their fanbase (The Coalition) to take control of their reality and escape The Machine.

Refusing to be just another number in the system, the duo; Sonia Rose [vocals], and Tyler Magrone [bass] constantly questioned everything they thought they knew. Through “MACHINE”, their latest EP, they burned their past identity to the ground, and reemerged with an unwavering confidence.

THE UNCRTN have left their mark on the iconic NYC music scene. Opening for nationally recognized acts and putting on shows throughout the city including; The Mercury Lounge, Arlene’s Grocery (Sold Out), Our Wicked Lady (Sold Out), Gleason’s Gym and The Sultan Room. They have been recognized by the likes of Chris Motionless (MIW), Pierce The Veil, Jose Mangin (SiriusXm), and Nick Martin (SWS).

Their debut EP “MACHINE” is a concept EP that follows The Drifter; a dystopian rebel who leads a resistance known as “The Coalition” on a journey to take down the Big Brother-esque regime of “The Machine”. With the help of long-time friend and producer Nor Omar, alongside Ricky Armellino (Ice Nine Kills, HAWK)  and Jake Clark, they have created “MACHINE” to inspire a generation to live life on their terms.

The final installment, “BAD FOR ME” featuring Ricky Armellino, is the culmination of The Drifter’s journey – where the protagonist realizes that in her best efforts to overthrow The Machine, the lengths she went through to achieve her revenge has made her just as bad as them – the one thing she swore to escape.

“MACHINE”, at its core, was created as a raw reflection of how many feel existing in today’s society; deceived and surveilled. THE UNCRTN urge every member of “The Coalition” to see past the artifice, break the chains, and take control of their reality.

Following the success of their singles “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN” (Over 500k streams) “BURNOUT” (Featured on SiriusXM Octane) & “REVERSE” (Featured on Idobi Howl), their latest entry “BAD FOR ME” hopes to continue connecting with their ever growing audience.
